We went up to our cabin, which we named Screech Owl Hill
Observatory, for Thanksgiving. Although it was partly cloudy,
with some itermittent haze, there were periods of good to very
good transparency. However, I had to do some twisting in my
chair to keep the percentage of clear sky as high a possible.

From 6:54 to 8:54 UT I was able to observe 46 meteors, which
included 3 early Geminids, 2 late Leonids, 6 Taurids (ANT), 1
early Sigma Hydrid, 1 early Monocerotid, a few apex meteors, and
29 sporadics. The best meteor was a nice -1 magnitude Northern
Apex meteor seen at 8:14 UT that left a 3 second train. Below is
a brief summary of the meteor activity observed.
