Chris, as I recall.....
The PC164C camera and Sentinels HB710E/C have identicle light sensitivity in 
lux at 0.0003. The larger CCD(1/2"), in the Sentinel camera allows all-sky 
where, as you know, a 1/3" CCD will not cover all sky with a fisheye lens. 
The two would, as you have noted, have the same results except for FOV.

The PC164C would offer an advantage for bright object astrophotography 
without great cost, and it might be possible to do a long exposure 
modification of this camera for DSO's. I have not checked on that because I 
do not have a PC164C. But do have a good DSO camera.
