(meteorobs) OT- Changing Sentinel to show Universal Time.

To any who might still be having difficulties in getting Sentinel to record 
in UT with an XP.

1. Close the Sentinel program. Open the XP's "CONTROL PANEL".
2. Click "Date, Time, Language and Regional Options".
3. Click "change format the format of numbers,dates, and times"
4. Click the "Customize" tab
5. Click the "Time" tab
6. In the "Time format" select HH:mm:ss
7. In the "Time separator" select the colon. Sentinel does not (display) 
time in decimal
8. Click APPLY(if highlighted), and click OK at the bottom
9. Click the OK in the "Regional and Languages" screen
10. Click "Change the date and time"
11. Click the "Time Zone" tab
12. Select "(GMT) Greenwhich Mean Time" Dublin, Edinbergh, .... etc.
13. Uncheck "Automatically adjust clock for daylight savings changes" if box 
is checked
14. Click APPLY
15. Click the "Date & Time" tab
16. Set the Calendar and time to actual Universal time. Click APPLY
17. Click OK and then Click the CLOSE button on the control panel screen
11. Shut down & Restart the computer
12. Open the Sentinel program. Set the START & STOP times in Universal Time
13. Place Sentinel in Watch mode with normal settings
14. For convienance, click on Sentinels "LOG" tab and select  "OPEN LOG 
WINDOW"
14. Briefly disconnect camera input to Sentinel box and reconnect
15. Sentinel will record this as a trigger either as a "Time of day skip" or 
an "Event"
    The "Log" window will show it in Universal Time, as will the EVENT & 
EXPOSURE files of Sentinel...... Sentinel is now synched with the XP 
computer in UT.
