I observed during the night of September 8/9 from my location
near Venice with a video camera ccd, a 3.8mm lens and the meteor
recognition software MetRec 4.1 (Molau 2007).
During a Teff of 8.805h (from 185321 UT to 034159 UT, mean video
Lm= +4.4) I have recorded 46 meteors, of which 7 meteors coming
from a radiant near Algol in PER (UT 195202 +0.4, UT 224831 -0.1,
UT 230503 +0.5, UT 002437 +0.2, UT 010011 -2.0, UT 032807 +0.3,
UT 033007 +1.3).
In http://meteore.uai.it/m2008/Sept_PER_stomeo_map.gif I have
plotted these 7 meteors in a gnomonic map.
I have used the routine of MetRec -RadFind- for obtain a search
over all possible radiant positions/velocities pairs. With the
7 meteors which fitt to the radiant, I obtained the best
positional determination in RA 48.2 DEC +38.0 and a velocity
of 56.0 km/sec.
This radiant is rather different from IMO radiant of September
PER (SPE) both for position (060,+47) and for velocity (64
km/sec). I think that it reminds more (Janniskens 2006) the
Epsilon PER radiant (050.2,+39.4 Vel=64.5).
