(meteorobs) Inexpensive "Computer detection" of VLF signaturepropogation?

Alternative to what? <g>

The few people I know who are doing VLF work are using basically the same 
setup, with some variations in the antenna only. Everybody is using a PC 
sound card input. Are there expensive VLF receivers?
