(meteorobs) Radio Perseids very poor!

Michael - The TV channel frequencies are the same as the analog channels were before, but there is not a audio subcarrier nor a video carrier; there is however a pilot carrier that reception may be hopefully obtained from. The pilot carrier is 60 KHz above the old video carrier frequency. 
This link, http://www.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/audio/tvq.html ,  shows the TV channels available. Select lower channel = 2; upper channel = 6 and service = Digital Television. This will show the low frequency DT channels available, and there are not too many of them right now, and only a few in your neck of the woods with pretty low power(EIRP). There are lots of Canadian ones close to you; try them out to see how the reception is.
