Between 0500 and 0700 UT the Perseids put on a good display here in Oklahoma on 12/13Aug.  Two strong nights (mornings actually) in a row.

First meteor, first minute was a fireball.

Many bright meteors, persistent trains and some fireballs.  Rate slowed the last 1/2 hour and my count ended at 0740.  Logged close to 60 PER in 2.5 hours TEFF.  Moon was less problematic than last night but LM still only around 5.0.

Had two friends for the session.  Neighbor who was treated to a great show for a casual observer, and a bat who tried to keep the mosquitoes at bay.

US west coast observers get out and take a look!
