Clouds are predicted to ruin Geminid maximum in the mid-Atlantic region. But for this morning, the sky was quite transparent, with no scintillation, but unfortunately polluted by southern Maryland's lighting. The temperature was 24 F/ -4 C under a cloudless sky. No wind, thank goodness!
