(meteorobs) Dark "Meteor"

I saw one.  At least, I saw the phenomenon for the first time, during my brief Geminid watch night before last.  Swift like a meteor, and orientation was such that if it had illuminated I would have counted it as a Geminid.
 
Bird, bat, vision anomaly, maybe.  But, other than being dark, it sure "felt" like a meteor.
 
PS - I did not count it as a meteor - no worries Mark or Rainer.
