Nice shots Koen!

I noticed you were using ISO 1000 on many of your exposures. With the
earlier Canon EOS DSLRs, using the "in-between" ISO settings (ie other
than 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600) is not recommended since the camera
actually uses the next ISO setting up, and then adjusts the gain to
"simulate" the ISO you chose. So if you pick ISO 1000, the camera will
actually use ISO 1600, and then under-expose to simulate ISO 1000. This
means that your exposure will be at least as noisy (maybe even more so)
as ISO 1600, but you won't capture as bright meteors as with true 1600.

So you may as well just use ISO 1600 (or ISO 800 and increase the gain
yourself in post processing). Either should yield better/cleaner images
than using an in between ISO like ISO 1000.

The more recent Canon EOS bodies behave differently, so using in-between
ISOs is not a problem as far as I'm aware.

Clear skies!
Leo

PS. The Sigma Hydrid fireball seems to have the wrong ISO listed for
your exposure. It should be "800" rather than "80" I'm guessing! :)
