Hunted for QUAs last night since weather looks doubtful for the peak tonight (drats again!).  My tape is not on hand right now, but I guess I saw 3 or 4 in 75 minutes of TEFF, however...

at 09:57 UT last night I observed a fireball I estimate at -6 or -7 travelling from Corvus to the east in the vicinity of Hercules.  Seemed of average to slow velocity and flared such that it was uncomfortable to look at (such as inadvertently glimpsing a welding torch).  Brilliant white with some blue also - reminded me of a "Flashbulb KCG" except even brighter.  Persistent train for 10 seconds or so.

Will get a full report out this weekend and also upload into fireball database.

Good luck tonight.

Bill,
Coweta, OK
