Of possible interest to radio meteor observers:

June 17, 2009

It appears that tv pilot carrier signals may prove useful for meteor
scatter work here in the US. I am presently experimenting with tv
channel 2 at 54.309 MHz USB.

Last night I captured a small fireball on video and radio and as an
exercise made a movie of it with my SpecLab chart embedded.
I made the movie in .divx format and also Quicktime .mp4 format.

Each movie is about 3 MB and lasts the duration of the scatter reflection.

Also here are 10 second long movies of ELF/VLF reception at the time for
this meteor: ( No obvious emission)
