(meteorobs) Meteor receiver

Hello,

my name ist Julian Portik (14 years old) and I'm from Erlaheim in Germany.
At my school I'm in the astronomy-club and our latest project is observing
meteors with a VLF antenna. The antenna is only one coil (enameled copper wire
1120 m | 0.25 mm diameter | 20000 windings) wich is connected to a PC (Mic-In
so we don't need an amplifier). 
Is it possible that we receive signals of meteors?? If not how could we get some
acceptable results?
