literally earthshaking experiences with that bolide are reported - can a Leonid
do that? I saw many Leonids brighter than the full moon during the 1998 'fireball
rain' (from Mongolia), but they were all just 'eyes only' phenomena. Do we know
that the bolide in question had a Leonids-compatible radiant? The *description*
sounds much more like an asteroidal sporadic entering the deep atmosphere to me.
