The second clear night of MART camp was a nice one. My limiting magnitude
was about 6.7 throughout the observations, save for the last period with
approaching dawn. I recorded 106 meteors in 3.7 hours observations. The
Southern Delta Aquarids were the most prominent shower with 20 meteors.
Other showers, like the Perseids (13 meteors), Antihelion meteors (10) and
Alpha Capricornids (7) were also quite active.
The most interesting and the brigtest meteor of the night was a -2
magnitude orange sporadic that appeared in the NE sky. It travelled 30
degrees through Auriga all the way to Venus and fragmented first into two
pieces, and shortly after into at least five fragments.

Clear skies!
