(meteorobs) Question on an interesting meteor -Enhanced Picture

Idle speculation. What if I were to ask, if the bright trail was NOT caused 
by the heat of ablation, what other conclusion could be drawn? <g>

The point being, of course, that the preponderance of visual evidence _does_ 
just lead to one likely conclusion.
