A follow up of the article from the Times India. The following is from
the Brisbane Times (17 September 2009) with photographs of both all
sky view and meteorite found using three cameras.
"West Australian scientists have used photos of 'fireballs' in the night
sky to track down a rare meteorite which is expected to provide clues
into the turbulent origins of the universe.
In the vast open space of the Nullarbor Plain, researchers from the
Western Australian Museum, the Imperial College London and the Ondrejov
Observatory in the Czech Republic set up a series of high-tech cameras
which take time lapse images of the night sky which are then used to
trace meteors as they crash to Earth."
