08:30-09:30; 53 deg F; dew point 51 deg F; wind S 7 mph; LM 5.6; facing East 50 deg; total teff 1.0 hour; during this hour a thin layer of haze in all directions; the bottom of this layer 2 to 3 degrees above the horizon  - very obvious in the sky glow over Ames in SW; Nevada in SE; Story City in N, etc.  Very heavy dew.  On way home drove thru one small area of fog on a creek bottom.
