I went out to see the "triple planet" conjunction in the West - then watched meteors for a while before Moon rise.

01 August 2010 02:45-03:45 UT (31 July/01 August 09:45 - 10:45 pm CDST)
Temperature: 75 deg F; dew point 70 deg F; wind calm; clear first 15 minutes; then patches of cirrus moving thru resulting in average LM of only 5.0; facing East 50 deg; total teff 1.0 hour

Antihelion: two: +2; +3
A Capricornid: one: -2 (white)
Sporadics: one: +3
Total meteors: four
