Quick summary....

Last night I had a terrific night of meteor observing under 7th mag
skies, in the La Verendrye Forest Reserve, about 3 hours drive north
of Ottawa.

I still need to transcribe the data for a more detailed summary (hope
to do that later today), but in a few hours, it was apparent that the
Perseids were significantly brighter and more active than the previous
night. Most of which were trained. Quite busy at times. My cameras
may have captured a number of them.

Of note that I saw several Kappa Cygnids (KCG) as well (cord
alignments generally agrees with the IMO's video data position).
Mainly dim and very dim ones, but not without a few brighter members
(no "flashbulb" fireballs though). There just seemed to be more of
these than I would normally see around the Perseids peak. Eridanids
also surprisingly active in the morning.

Tonight's weather looks poor, but I'm keeping fingers crossed for
tomorrow night.
