Short Geminid Session in Greenbelt, MD - Dec. 14/15, 2010

It was mostly cloudy in Greenbelt for the maximum of the Geminids this
year,
but I was able to get out for a short 15 minute watch early last night
and was
able to see a couple nice Geminids. On December 14/15, from 03:10 to 03:25
UT I saw three meteors, one 4th magnitude Monocerotid, and two 1st magn.
Geminids. The first Geminid seen had a blue-green color, and the second one
had a very nice yellow-green color. It was worth it despite the cold
conditions
and bright moonlight.
