Of possible use to others is the Meinberg Time correcting system which can
be downloaded free. http://www.meinberg.de/english/sw/index.htm

I use it on a DSL line to control SEVERAL sky monitoring computers through a
USRobotics DSL router of 4 ports. Accuracy is usually within 1 second
compared to my Boulder Colorado WWVB signals. Meinberg time is sampled and
corrected every 10 seconds with a visible record if you care to view it in
the software.

There will be some propogation error from the several different locations of
time standard sources being actively compared, but it is quite small
fractions of a second compared to the much larger normal computer time
drifting.

Be sure there is no conflict with computer automatic settings for daylight
savings. The Meinberg system does correct for DST.

FWIW.
