I began immediately after Moon set.
The usual hourly weather data from the weather station at the Ames airport not available for much of the time I was observing. Temperature nearly steady: 46 deg F at beginning and still 46 deg F at end; dew point 37 deg F at beginning and 35 deg F at end; wind SE 7 mph at beginning; South 7 mph at end.
06:15-07:15 UT clear; LM 5.7; facing E 50 deg; total teff 1.0 hour.

S Taurids: two: +1; +2
Sporadics: four: +1; +2; +3(2)
Total meteors: eight
07:15-08:15 UT clear; LM 5.6; facing E 50 deg; total teff 1.0 hour.

08:15-09:15 UT clear; LM 5.5; facing E 50 deg; total teff 1.0 hour.

Comet Hartley easier to see fuzz ball in binoculars.
