I was unaware you were viewing Ashcraft's video at lower resolution. 
This is why I questioned the analysis. It was obvious at higher 
resolution that Thomas's video showed a fragmenting fireball.

I will say though, I mistakenly viewed a "airplane" video a while back 
and could have sworn it was a daylight fireball, that is until I viewed 
it at higher resolution, when it became painfully obvious it was in fact 
a plane. I ate crow on that one.
