Hi all,

Just finished analising videoresults from 15/16 September night.
Unfortunately, the period 18:30-20:30 UT was clouded almost
completely. Suitable observing conditions were during 15:03-16:20,
16:34-16:50, 16:56-17:06, 18:03-18:08, 20:25-22:34 UT. There was no
fireballs and even meteors of negative magnitude in the camera's FOV
during these periods of time.

Best regards, Mikhail Maslov

RA> I received this from a serious amateur astronomer in
RA> Magdeburg, Germany:

RA> "We were on our observing post last night and saw
RA> 6 bolides. 5 of them came roughly from Lyra,
RA> Cygnus. All were of magnitude -8, some of them
RA> orange. [...]"

RA> Is there any other observation of this unusual cluster
RA> of fireballs?

Alle
RA> waren etwa -8 mag hell, zum Teil orange. Gibts es da ein Substrom?
