(meteorobs) Major Fireball Over SE USA

A fireball brighter than the light of the full moon has been reported over northern Florida, Georgia, the Carolina's, and Alabama. It occurred near 22:00 EDT on April 29th or 02:00 Universal Time on April 30. The American Meteor Society has received nearly 25 reports of this object so far. Most of the witnesses report the major color as orange. Two witnesses in Georgia reported a sonic boom that shortly after the fireball disappeared.
