Joe and All,

The AMS has only received one report of this fireball, #671 for 2011. A night earlier around 10:15pm EDT, there were eight reports of a fireball from the same general area. The typical report had the peak brightness at slightly inferior to that of the full moon. Most witnesses stated that it was white and fragmented.

Summaries of these reports may be viewed on the AMS website at: http://www.amsmeteors.org/fireball2/public.php?start_date=2011-01-01&end_date=2011-12-31

Refer to fireball #669 for 2011.

Clear Skies!
