Folks,

the alpha-Capricornid activity has been slowly rising since mid-July and
is about to peak now at a flux density of 1.3 meteoroids per 1000 km^2
and hour. Yesterday, the activity of the Southern delta-Aquariids
started to increase rapidly reaching flux values beyond 10 now, and
starting on July 25, the Perseids clearly lifted from the background
with current flux values beyond 3.

As in the past few months, the members of the IMO Video Meteor Network
will upload their flux density measures in the coming weeks as soon as
they can, which allows you to follow the further development of these
showers (and others) with only a small delay at

http://vmo.imo.net/flx/

Best wishes,
Sirko
