I very much doubt that is true of anpyone who has been observing meteors
for a good period of time.  I'm going to have to start making a special
effort to spot one of these green meteors. All kidding aside I think
this " phenomenon" has more to do with the observer than what he has
been told he will see.  Now let me go find that pink elephant.

I hardly think Wayne's out of line...moreover, like the placebo effect,
if you tell people to look for green meteors -- that's what they'll see!
