Marco, George and Wayne,
    Thank you guys so much for "having my back" on this...;o).  And I
apologize to the list for unintentionally "firing" up this issue again.  I
just can't help it, once an observer, always an observer...
Seems like fireballs are intrinsically an emotional topic among meteor
observers and probably always will be.   What really amazes and distresses
me most about Dirk's posts are both how often these events occur and how
often I personally miss them...;o(.
