(meteorobs) "Forecast" of fireballs from NEO visit - huh?

Seems to me there are two arguments here. One of color of meteors which I will
not address and which I think is covering up the real issue here. Can NEO cause
fireball meteor events.Right now I cannot not see where fireball data supports
either sides claims.Simply the data is lacking.
But the data on Asteroids is pretty clear.

That other asteroid bodies can orbit and be present with other asteroid
bodies. So it does seems,to me and not a great leap of logic or
genuis, that such fireball events could be possible. In addition if what is now
believe that some asteroids are died comets this would seem to increase the
possibilities of such event taking place.May I point just one event that
support what I am talking about asteroid 596 Scheila event this year.
Just pointing this out. Call me crazy,I have thick skin and can live with it.

Dirk and All,
Now that comment was uncalled for and inappropriate. If I was a list elf and
that was said about me, I would be tempted to ban any further comments from you.
This is just not because it was a personal comment, but the fact that all your
posts are attempts to draw traffic to your web site using sensational headlines
and statements.
While I appreciate you using the AMS archives for research, I don't believe that
only six years worth of data can be the basis of fireball patterns. One must
remember that this project was initially burdened with several longs gaps in
reporting for various reasons and is not a complete listing all the way back to
January 2005. Thanks to Mike Hankey, these troubles seem to be over and the
fireball table is more popular than ever. It will become more valuable and
useful as the years progress.
Dirk, you do offer a valuable service to the public but I find it most
distasteful that you resort to sensationalism and pseudoscience on meteorobs to
draw attention to your web site. And now a personal attack on Mr. Hally's
intelligence. Where will it end?
