There is a great pass over the US east coast this evening around 6:35 PM EDT
from Michigan through the southern DelMarVa peninsula. Along the coast to
the northeast, it will be in a SW direction. Further south it will be toward
the northeast. See Heavens-Above for details. It should be really moving
fast across the sky due to its low orbit (< 190 km), about mag +3.

The latest prediction is for reentry at 1324 UTC on the 23rd (Sunday) +/- 16
hours . If it comes down orbit later, it would be about 11:12 AM Sunday for
the eastern US, and visible to the northwest.

The mirror might weigh as much as a half a ton when it hits the surface. Of
course most of the surface is ocean, so the risk is low, but higher than the
UARS reentry a month or so ago.
