Another topic that may generate  much comment.
The following 1998 paper by Belmonte, Eisenberg, Moses may be of
interest to those asking about tumbling of a meteoroid entry. I believe
the illustrations in the paper may help explaining the effects of
tumbling on the meteor trains or trails - twisted, ribbon and on.
