I powered up my VLF-ELF radio last evening for the satellite re-entry
and will keep my audio recordings with WWV time stamp for when the
precise time of re-entry occurred.

During that observing period there was one nice long meteor overhead
that my all-sky camera and forward scatter radio array captured at
61.250 MHz CW and 83.250 MHz CW. I also synced up the VLF-ELF reception
at the time of the meteor and made a movie/report.

What I have found in the past is that certain meteors that exhibit
mid-flight flaring and/or terminal bursting may produce directly evident
VLF-ELF receptions. Without obvious bursting which tends to create a
synchronous "crack" or "pop" then it usually makes an inconclusive
meteor reception. Last night's meteor flight was smooth without
prominent bursting. Hence, no obvious direct reception that I can
perceive amidst the sferic background.
