Hi Jay,
Good luck with your progress.
I am sure you know this but if you are within a few hundred miles
proximity to Mexico you should be able to receive Mexican analog tv
station scatter. Meteor scatter methods produce infinitely more
reflections at lower than 100 MHz. Analog tv carriers broadcast at
55.250 , 61.250. 67.250. 77.250 and 83.250 MHz. To do this requires
something like ICOM pcr1000 radio which can be purchased on ebay for
$200 to $300.
But I strongly encourage your NAVSPASUR work and look forward to hearing
about your progress.
