(meteorobs) Simple receiver to detect meteorites

Anyone here ever use a compact 1 meter loop antennae to observe  meteors?

You couldt try a vertical one, but the  results depends on the distance 
and/or power of the transmitter you  listening to.
Try to find a place on your balcony or  attic (if possible) to place your

You van use any radio with a cw of ssb  possibility (Icom pcr 1000, 1500 of 
 2500, Rc 10/20 or R75, Kenwood  R1000   etc)

Hi,
I am interested in either purchasing or building a simple receiver  to 
detect meteorites falling to earth.
I live in an apartment and cannot  set up a dipole or yagi antenna.
Any suggestions would be  appreciated.
