Marc,
Anyone here ever use a compact 1 meter loop antennae to observe meteors?

Hi Robert,
you NEED an antenna to observe meteors by radio.
You couldt try a vertical one, but the results depends on the distance
and/or power of the transmitter you listening to.
Try to find a place on your balcony or attic (if possible) to place your
antenna and find a usable transmitter.
You van use any radio with a cw of ssb possibility (Icom pcr 1000, 1500 of
2500, Rc 10/20 or R75, Kenwood R1000 etc)
good luck,
Marc Neijts

Hi,
I am interested in either purchasing or building a simple receiver to
detect meteorites falling to earth.
I live in an apartment and cannot set up a dipole or yagi antenna.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
