Hi Robert,

Galactic Analytics has determined the location of the fall. It is
indeed in Texas. Fall time was 12:43:08 UT, so you have a method
for at least "scoring" the accuracy of the times reported by
witnesses. ;-) --Rob

Pat and All,

The American Meteor Society has received over 70 reports of this object,
occurring near 6:45am CST on Friday morning December 7th. Almost all of
the reports have been from Texas. The object must have been extremely
bright as many witnesses are comparing it to the sun in brightness. Most
of the reports also indicate a green color was predominant.

Individual reports, pictures, and a map can be accessed from the AMS web
site at: http://www.amsmeteors.org/fireball_event/2012/2085

Clear Skies!

Robert Lunsford
