I should mention my info of what I use. Living in an apartment I'm limited
to what I can put on my balcony. So far here in Canada there are still odd
analogue transmitters in use for people in country/rural areas...BUT the
nice Gov't and Tv regulator told these stations to stop transmitting by
end of this month.... soo.. I'm looking for backups. Not sure if FM radio
will work, listened to 98.1 MHz on WFM all day yesterday but heard
nothing.

My setup:

Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
Lat: N 44d 39'
Long: W 63d 36'
Hgt: 58 meters above sea level
Listening Frequency: 67.24 MHz
Receiver: Icom R-10
Antenna : resonant dipole
Antenna Direction: Horizontally polarized with lobes in E-W plane,
        elev 0 deg
Filter : high-Q (Q at least 300) bandpass filter between antenna &
          receiver.
Listening Mode: CW
Recording method: listening by ear
