(meteorobs) An outburst of Eta Aquarid fireballs?

Hi Bill et al,

Your message triggered me to activate a visual ZHR graph:

So far, visual data for last night has only been provided by Tim Cooper in
South Africa, who reported 21 eta-Aquariids between 2h15 and 3h32 UT with a
nominal magnitude distribution (and no fireballs):

The MetRec network indicates a similar picture of "normal" ETA activity
between 1h and 4h UT this morning, i.e. ZHR 39 +/- 10 based on data from
Enrico Stomeo and Rui Goncalves. One of Enrico's stations (NOA38) does
indicate a possible -3 mag fireball at 3h00 UT. He might be able to tell us
more about that one.

Of course, none of these observations cover the period between 9h00 and
12h00 UT where Bill is reporting a number of fireballs.
