Mark: The Leonids were pitiful from Asheville. I wont even submit a report. I saw 3-4 meteors that mgiht that might have been Leonids... it was nonexistant from here. What are we doing for the Geminids? Would you like to come up? I have an apt. coming up next month? Don't right now have overnight accomodations to offer you...I'm renting at the Salvation Army Lodge for a couple three weeks. But three is no reason we can't go observing if you want. JUst bring warm clothes and stay in touch. I really want to meet you and go observing and swap astronomy history together..."Hey boy! Whatcha doing here? You got any ID? Is that a bozzoka or a rocket launcher?" Don't talk back to me! You wanna go jail? S"eriously, Mark,I look forward to meeting you and laying under the stars in our sleeeping bags and watching the meteors and swapping tales of late night astronomy stories to tell. Lets start making plans for Geminid watching in the mouintains! Sincerely, Rick Hil
