(meteorobs) Fireball caught on film

     A few years ago I read an interview in which Spielberg said his big 
childhood meteor experience occurred the summer he was 8 years old and spent 
with his uncle here in South Jersey (we still have some fairly dark skies 
left but back then even the sky only 10 or 15 miles from Philadelphia was 
probably not devastatingly light-polluted).   I believe Spielberg specifically 
said that what he observed was the Perseids.
