(meteorobs) Fireball over SE Canada and NE USA September 21, 2012

The American Meteor Society has received nearly 20 reports of a bright meteor that occurred near 20:30 (8:30pm EDT) on Friday September 21, 2012 over southeastern Canada and northeastern USA. Brightness estimates of this fireball vary considerably, but the average lies near magnitude -11, which is slightly inferior to the light produced by the full moon.. Every color of the rainbow has been reported with green and blue being the most predominant.
