I went out for three hours this morning. I quit at 4:15 am CDT because the thin crescent Moon had come up and there was a little fog and I was tired. The two best meteors: -6 yellow Perseid that flared twice, but left a train lasting only 5 seconds. The next brightest was -5 Eridanid that traveled 70+ degrees.

03/04 August 2013 01:15-04:15 am CDST (04 Aug 06:15-09:15 UT)

I saw no Kappa Cygnids or Alpha Capricornids.
