(meteorobs) UFO Capt. and DMK31 question

Hello all

I recently downloaded the UFO Capture and I have 2 DMK cameras (one 21au04as and one 31au03as) both with a 2.8mm CCTV lenses. 
I was just wandering if the software will work well and record the meteors if I raise the exposure time to more than 1/5th of a second (5fps) and if there is any meaning on doing that, cause by raising the exposure time the video will not be a video any more...

Any recomendations for possible set-ups (with the existing hardware wich also contains a Canon 5DMrkII DSLR and a Canon EOS 350Dslr) or other software that could possibly help me record as best results as possible will be apreciated.
