(meteorobs) Perseid Meteor Obs. 8/12/13 - Mathias, WVa

We had some good conditions for the Perseid maximum, except
that it was quite humid and a bit hazy.  I was able to get
in three hours of formal meteor observing. I took a break
from 6:41-6:54 UT to look at the SN 2013ej in M74, which
was around 12.5 magnitude. That became the 40th SN that I
have seen visually since 1974. The best two meteors was a
-4 and a -3 Perseid seen at 8:04 and 7:56 UT respectively.
