Hi Folks,

With some delay, I present a summary report of all my Perseid observations done in 2013.
No observations from the French Provence this year because on August 8, I became for the first time father of our lovely daughter Laurien (or Laureen, named after the famous 'tears of st Lawrence' or better known as the Perseid meteor shower).
This year in Belgium, the weather was pretty good, so I was able to observe many nights from my backyard. The maximum night was partially cloudy and after the maximum, conditions became more difficult to observe (more old frontal clouds,..).
In grand total I observed 42,97 hours Teff during 12 nights. I counted 1346 meteors including 748 Perseids, 31 Kappa Cygnids, 26 Southern Delta Aquarids, 14 Capricornids and 507 sporadics. I also observed some minor activity from the Eridanids and Iota Aquarids (=ANT activity on the IMO shower calender).

Summary report:

August 01-02: 4,08 hours Teff: 76 meteors: 14 Perseids
August 03-04: 2,00 hours Teff: 35 meteors: 10 Perseids (-4 PER)
August 04-05: 4,50 hours Teff: 109 meteors: 36 Perseids (-3 PER)
August 05-06: 4,38 hours Teff: 105 meteors: 43 Perseids
August 06-07: 3,50 hours Teff: 80 meteors: 34 Perseids
August 09-10: 4,33 hours Teff: 107 meteors: 55 Perseids (-7 SPOR, -3 ANT, -3 PER)
August 10-11: 4,60 hours Teff: 159 meteors: 102 Perseids (-4 PER)
August 11-12: 4,33 hours Teff: 201 meteors: 141 Perseids (-6 PER, -4 PER, -4 PER,..)
August 12-13: 3,33 hours Teff: 228 meteors: 177 Perseids (-5 PER, -4 PER,..)
August 13-14: 3,75 hours Teff: 127 meteors: 86 Perseids (-8 PER, -3 PER)
August 14-15: 0,67 hours Teff: 21 meteors: 14 Perseids
August 15-16: 3,50 houts Teff: 98 meteors: 36 Perseids (-3 KCG)
I still have to put all data on the IMO data server.

Clear skies to all!

Michel
