Hi folks,

I had a great week for meteor observing in Belgium! For the maximum nights, there were some problems: low clouds during a big part of Dec 12-13 and a cold front with rain during Dec 13-14. But in both nights, the skies cleared up before dawn; leaving some time for excellent meteor watching! Dec 14-15 was clouded out. As usual, the Geminids were great, but not so gorgeous as during some previous returns. But we have to conclude that the conditions weren't far from ideal with long interfering moonlight during the maximum nights at the moment of the highest radiant altitude...
Never less: it is quite unusual to enjoy so many clear nights in Belgium in December.
I saw two magnificent Geminid fireballs (Dec 11 and Dec 14); both were captured by 2 all sky stations at Oostduinkerke (Belgium) and Oostkapelle (the Netherlands).

My visual data:

Dec 04-05 : 4.50 hours Teff - 78 meteors (4 GEM - 2 MON - 2 HYD - 70 SPOR)
Dec 09-10 : 6.00 hours Teff - 132 meteors (30 GEM - 6 MON - 6 HYD - 5 ANT - 85 SPOR)
Dec 10-11 : 5.00 hours Teff - 124 meteors (35 GEM - 4 MON - 5 HYD - 80 SPOR)
Dec 11-12 : 4.00 hours Teff - 162 meteors (85 GEM - 2 HYD - 2 ANT - 73 SPOR)
Dec 12-13 : 2.00 hours Teff - 105 meteors (73 GEM - 32 SPOR)
Dec 13-14 : 1.67 hours Teff - 125 meteors (95 GEM - 30 SPOR)

GEM= Geminids
MON= december Monocerotids
HYD= Hydrids
ANT= antihelion meteors
SPOR = sporadics

In the next few days I'll post all my data on imo.net

Long trains,
