Dear All,
We invite all meteor workers to consider participation at the 32nd IMC
which will take place from Thursday 22 till Sunday 25 August 2013 in
Poznan, Poland. All details can be found on the IMC website:
http://www.imo.net/imc2013/. Registration is possible from today.
 There are many reasons to attend the 32nd IMC:

   - Immediately after the IMC, the professional conference "Meteoroids
   2013" takes place at the same place from 26 till 30 August, a combination
   that invites to share two conferences at the cost of one travel effort;
   - Poznan is easy to reach for most European meteor workers and the
   combination with 'Meteoroids 2013' makes long distance travelling more
   worthwhile;
   - The 32nd IMC will be organized by a team of experienced IMC veterans
   in the Congress Center Hotel IOR where all facilities are available under
   one roof to assure the typical IMC atmosphere. Conference room, restaurant,
   sleeping rooms and a real suitable IMC bar;
   - The standard IMC participation fee of 150 Euro covers full board
   (double room bases), T-shirt, an excursion to the Morasko Meteorite Nature
   Reserve and a copy of the 2013 IMC Proceedings;
   - The IMO was founded in 1988, 25 years ago. A quarter of a century in
   which IMO and all IMC's changed the world of amateur meteor observers a
   lot. An anniversary that shouldn't pass unnoticed:
   - Poznan is a historic city and very popular as city trip destination:
   another reason to combine some sightseeing with the IMC.

People who need *visa* should request an official invitation letter from
the LOC. Make sure that all data is provided (complete official, name,
address, birthdate, birthplace, passport number,...).
The registration requires *prepayment of the IMC fee within two weeks after
registration*. Registrations that are not confirmed by payment will be
deleted.
The IMC organizers offer the possibility to book *extra nights before and
after the IMC* at the IMC accommodation.
The number of participants in the IMC hosting facility is limited. *Early
reservation is recommended* to have a room in the main IMC accommodation.
Late registrations may be offered a room in a nearby hotel or to book their
own accommodation.
 The core business of the IMC is the lecture and poster program. For each
presentation a written paper for publication in the IMC Proceedings is
required. We strongly recommend to prepare this paper before the
conference. Lectures are in general 15 minutes including a couple of
minutes for comments and questions. People who intend to make a
presentation, lecture or poster, will be contacted personally. The quality
of the IMC program will be supervised by a SOC.
 The socializing aspect of the IMC will benefit from the all-in-one-place
IMC accommodation: enough free time will be reserved for informal chat and
entertainment.
Looking forward to see you in Poznan, Poland,
 Best regards,
Paul Roggemans
IMO IMC liaison officer
