(meteorobs) Meteor Obs. 7/26/13 - Mathias, WVa

          Screech Owl Hill Observatory, Mountain Meadows

                        July 25/26, 2013

Although the Moon was a Wanning Gibbous phase, by looking WNW
I was able to still see 6.2 the 1st hour, and 6.0 the 2nd
hour facing away from the bright moonlight. Because there was
good transparency. The Milky Way was very good before moonrise,
but still easy to see when I didn't include the moon in my FOV.
The Screech Owls were very active, providing entertainment
between meteor apparitions. The best meteor was a 0 magnitude
yellow-green Alpha Capricornid (CAP) seen at 6:29 UT. It was
nice seeing the early Perseids and the Delta Aquarids.
