Hi Mike,

Wanted to comment that this is the definitive image for proving that
that
East Coast fireball (seen by thousands!) almost certainly ended up in
the
Atlantic Ocean. The image clearly shows the stars of Orion, plus Sirius,
Procyon, Gomeisa, and Alhena. Given that the fireball terminus is well
to
the southeast of Procyon (Procyon was at azimuth 163, elevation 53),
there is unfortunately no land in that direction from NYC.  --Rob
